Dried Fruit & Saffron Braised Bone Marrrow

This collagen packed, sweet, savory, deliciousness is one of my signature dishes and a guest favorite. Jaws on the floor guaranteed!




  • In an extra large pan heat avocado oil and begin softening onions.
  • Add salt, pepper, and turmeric.
  • Cook for 5 minutes.
  • On med/high heat add throughly washed beef marrows.
  • Season them with salt & pepper.
  • Tuck in lots of pitted prunes, Turkish apricots, dried pineapples, and regular apricots.
  • Pour on a generous amount of brewed saffron and a drizzle of pomegranate molasses.
  • Add @sadaf_foods fried onions.
  • Pour in enough chicken broth to come up 3,4 up bones. Do not submerge them in broth.
  • Squeeze on a fresh orange and place the lid on.
  • Lower heat to med and cook for 35-40 min.
  • Flip them carefully. Add more pitted prunes and fried onions.
  • Lid on and simmer on med/low for 30-40 longer.
  • Stick a small spoon in each and serve! Enjoy!
