This bright citrus salad is simple, refreshing, and packed with flavor, it pairs perfectly with grilled meats, seafood, or a good loaf of bread.
Ingredients:
- 4 Oranges
- 2 Blood oranges
- 1 Fennel bulb
- 1 Shallot
- Bono Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt & pepper
- Fennel fronds (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Peel & slice 3 oranges and 2 blood oranges, then arrange them on a platter.
- Thinly slice the fennel bulb and shallot, then spread them evenly on top.
- Squeeze the juice of 1 orange over the salad for extra freshness.
- Drizzle generously with Bono Extra Virgin Olive Oil, for that Sicilian touch.
- Season with salt & pepper, then finish with fennel fronds.
- Let it sit for 10 minutes before serving so the flavors come together.
