Mortadella, Cucumber & Feta Wrap with Lavash

The following recipe is inspired by a nostalgic childhood snack shared by Chef Ara Zada in his video. While Chef Ara demonstrates his own take, this version introduces a slightly different twist, incorporating additional flavors for balance and texture.

Ingredients (Serves 1)  

  • – 1 sheet lavash bread
  • – 3–4 slices mortadella
  • – ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • – ½ cucumber, thinly sliced
  • – ¼ cup arugula or baby spinach
  • – 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt or hummus (for creaminess)
  • – 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • – ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • – Black pepper, to taste

Instructions 

1. Lay the lavash flat on a clean surface.

2. Spread a thin layer of Greek yogurt or hummus over the entire surface.

3. Place the mortadella slices on one side of the lavash.

4. Layer the cucumber slices evenly over the mortadella.

5. Sprinkle crumbled feta over the cucumbers.

6. Add arugula or baby spinach for a fresh element.

7. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice to enhance the flavors.

8. Season with black pepper to taste.

9. Roll the lavash tightly from the edge with the fillings or fold it into a flatbread-style sandwich.

10. Slice in half and enjoy!
