Summer and barbecues are a match made in heaven, and no backyard party is complete without burgers as the star of the show. But what truly makes a hamburger shine is a delicious sauce — the right one can turn a great burger into an absolutely unforgettable bite.
Ingredients (makes about 1 cup):
- 110 g mayonnaise (about 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp)
- 25 g ketchup (about 2 tbsp)
- 3 g Worcestershire sauce (about 1/2 tsp)
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp stone ground mustard
- 4 cornichons, finely minced (about 1/4 cup)
- 1/2 shallot, finely minced (about 2 tbsp)
- 1 tbsp capers, finely minced
- 2 tsp green peppercorns, chopped
- 2 tsp Chef Dust “The Original”
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Method:
Mix everything together until fully combined.
Let rest in the fridge for 15–30 minutes before serving so the flavors meld.
