Ingredients:

• 1 ripe watermelon (seedless preferred)
• Olive oil (for brushing)
• Flaky sea salt
• Honey (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions:

1. Slice the Watermelon
Cut into thick wedges or rounds—about 1 inch thick. Keep the rind on for easier grilling.
2. Prep the Grill
Fire up your grill to medium-high heat. If you’re using charcoal, aim for a steady, even heat (B&B’s competition briquets are mentioned in the video).
3. Brush & Grill
Lightly brush both sides of the watermelon slices with olive oil. Place them directly on the grill grates and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until grill marks appear and the sugars begin to caramelize.
4. Finish with Flair
Remove from grill and immediately sprinkle with flaky sea salt. For a sweet-savory twist, drizzle with honey while still warm.
5. Serve & Savor

Serve as a side dish, a bold appetizer, or even a dessert. The result? Juicy meets smoky, sweet meets charred—summer’s unexpected MVP.
