KL/Reuters:Smartphone video taken by Iranian woman Shirin Alizadeh recording gunfire crackdown on protesters near a security forces base in Charlus, Mazandaran Province, Iran, on Sept 22, 2022 before she is killed by a gunshot.

It is reportedly said that the security forces used sniper rifle from rooftop of their base near Chaloos to kill the 35-year-old mother of two sitting on the front passenger seat while her husband is driving. Her 7-year-old son was with her in the car.

She was shot dead when a bullet penetrated the window of her car.

Here is the translation of her account before being shot dead.

“Direct shot!

Not that they shoot at the car!

Are just air shots!

Was the girl shot?

Oh, they killed her!

Nasi, they are filming..

At the end of the video, her blood drips onto the camera.

Dozens lost their lives simply for filming crackdown on protests with their cell phones.

Videos on social media showing Iranian security forces severely beating protesters have gone viral as anger grows at a widening crackdown with arrests of prominent figures from rappers to economists and lawyers aimed at ending seven weeks of unrest.

Protests ignited by the death in morality police custody of Mahsa Amini on Sept. 16 after her arrest for inappropriate attire have shaken Iran‘s clerical establishment with people from all layers of society demanding wholesale political change.
