Persian Style Breakfast Panini with Sangak Bread

  • Olive oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup half & half
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • Sangak bread (for the sandwich)
  • 2 slices Swiss cheese


  1. Heat a Pan: Add a drizzle of olive oil to a pan and warm it up over medium heat.
  2. Beat the Eggs: In a bowl, beat three eggs until they become fluffy.
  3. Season the Eggs: To the beaten eggs, add a cup of half & half, a teaspoon of salt, and a teaspoon of pepper.
  4. Cook the Eggs: Pour the egg mixture into a medium-high pan. Use a spatula to flip the eggs when they turn brown.
  5. Prepare the Sandwich: Remove the eggs from the pan and place them on a piece of Sangak bread to create a sandwich.
  6. Add Swiss Cheese: Layer two slices of Swiss cheese on top of the egg.
  7. Panini Time: Place the sandwich in a panini machine.
  8. Max Power: Turn the machine’s power to the maximum setting.
  9. Melt the Cheese: Remove the sandwich from the machine as soon as the cheese melts.
