Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef (substitute ground turkey)
  • 5 medium potatoes
  • 1 small onion grated (discard extra water)
  • 2 medium onions (for sautéing)
  • 1.5 teaspoons of turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper or more for spicier taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of dried lime (substitution lime juice)
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 2-3 tablespoon Olive oil

This dish can be served over rice, cauliflower rice, quinoa, or with bread.
