1. Season and fry Eggplant or Zucchinis – set aside

2. – Season and saute onions

3. – add in mushrooms to onions

4. Add in tomatoes to eggplants/or/zucchinis, onions & mushrooms.

5. Pour lemon juice mixture and place dish in pre-heated oven

7. Serve with cooked basmati white rice

8. – Bon Appetit , Nooshe Joon

DUBAI, Dec 2 (Reuters) – Two Iranian Revolutiona

DUBAI, Dec 2 (Reuters) – Two Iranian Revolutionary Guards members who served as military advisers in Syria have been killed in an Israeli attack, Iranian state media reported on Saturday, in the first reported Iranian casualties during the ongoing war in Gaza.

A Revolutionary Guards statement did not give details of the attack. Syria earlier said its air defences repelled an Israeli rocket attack against targets in the vicinity of Damascus early on Saturday.

Dec 1 (Reuters) – Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant has a poster hanging on a wall of his office in Tel Aviv, in the wake of the Oct. 7 attack on Israel by Hamas. It shows mugshots of hundreds of the Palestinian militant group’s commanders arranged in a pyramid.

At the bottom are Hamas’ junior field commanders. At the top is its high command, including Mohammed Deif, the shadowy mastermind of last month’s assault.

The poster has been re-printed many times after Israel invaded Gaza in retaliation for Oct. 7: the faces of dead commanders marked with a cross.

But the three men topping Israel’s hit-list remain at large: Deif, the head of Hamas’ military wing, the Izz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades; his second in command, Marwan Issa; and Hamas’ leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar.

The 61-year-old Sinwar, as well as Deif and Issa, both 58, form a secretive three-man military council atop Hamas that planned and executed the Oct. 7 attack. Some 1,200 people were killed and around 240 taken hostage in that assault, the bloodiest in Israel’s 75-year history.

The three leaders are directing Hamas’ military operations and led negotiations for a prisoner-hostage swaps, possibly from bunkers beneath Gaza, three Hamas sources say.

Killing or capturing the three men will likely be a long and arduous task but might signal that Israel was close to shifting from all-out war to less intense counter insurgency operations, according to three of the senior regional sources. That does not mean that Israel’s fight against Hamas would stop.

GAZA, Dec 2 (Reuters) – Israeli air strikes and artillery bombardments hit Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip on Saturday as Israel pressed its offensive against Hamas militants with renewed force after the collapse of a truce in the nearly two-month-old war.

Palestinian residents said houses and open areas had been hit and three mosques destroyed in Khan Younis in the past hours. Columns of smoke were rising into the sky, Reuters journalists in the city said.

The Israeli military said that in the last 24 hours combined attacks by its ground, air and naval forces had hit 400 militant targets and killed an unspecified number of Hamas fighters.

Hamas media said about 200 Palestinians had been killed since the end of the truce – adding to the more than 15,000 dead in Gaza since the start of the war, according to health authorities in the enclave.

The warring sides blamed each other for the collapse of the seven-day truce, during which Hamas had released hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails.

The United Nations said the fighting would worsen an extreme humanitarian emergency.

“Hell on Earth has returned to Gaza,” said Jens Laerke, spokesperson for the U.N. humanitarian office in Geneva.

The conflict broke out on Oct. 7 when Hamas militants crossed into southern Israel and killed 1,200 people, mostly civilians, in a rampage against kibbutzim and other communities. More than 200 hostages were taken back in Gaza.

Israel responded with a ferocious bombing campaign and a ground offensive which has destroyed large areas of Gaza and displaced hundreds of thousands of people in what has become the the bloodiest episode of the wider Israel-Palestinian conflict.

Friday saw intense bombing in Khan Younis and Rafah in the south, medics and witnesses said.

Germany have beaten France on penalties in the FIFA U17 World Cup final, to be crowned world champions at that level for the first time.

Borussia Dortmund youngster Paris Brunner opened the scoring with a penalty at the Manahan Stadium in Jakarta before the side's captain, Noah Darvich - who recently moved to Barcelona from Freiburg - made it two.

Saïmon Bouabré pulled one back for France before Mathis Amougou drew the scores level five minutes from time, which meant penalties.

Robert Ramsak, Max Moerstadt, Fayssal Harchaoui and Almugera Kabar scored their spot-kicks as Germany prevailed 4-3 on penalties, adding the world title to the European one they won at this level in June.
