Weekly Roundup: Jan.18th – Jan.25th

The Middle East Peace and Security Conference is straining what have historically been good relations between Iran and Poland. The U.S. is co-hosting the summit with Poland, which Iranian officials say has an anti-Iran agenda. Iran has not been invited to the conference.

Three Iranian women researchers have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to science. Dr. Tahereh Kaghazchi, Dr. Zahra Emamjomeh and Dr. Mahshid Firouzi were selected by the Association of Academies and Societies of Sciences in Asia (AASSA).

Our Persian Treat of the Week is Chelo Kabab Koobideh. Succulent, juicy and just right for January.

Ba dorood,
