MEATBALLS WITH SOUR CHERRY (ALBALOO) JAM

Sweet, savory, and a little unexpected-meatballs with sour cherry jam is a flavor combo you didn’t know you needed!

RECIPE: 

  • 500 gms mince (beef or lamb)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons of Exotic Bazaar’s Harissa
  • Salt to taste
For the sauce –
  • 3 dessert spoons of cherry jam
  • tablespoons of butter

METHOD: 

  • Chop onions & mix in a bowl with mince, salt & harissa.
  • Form into small balls and fry until golden brown
  • Mix jam & butter in a saucepan and simmer.
  • Serve meatballs on top of steamed rice & drizzle with Sour Cherry Jam.
  • Enjoy!
