Khagineh Recipe

INGREDIENTS
. 2 eggs
. 4 tablespoon flour
. ¼ teaspoon baking powder
. ½ cup walnut
. ½ tablespoon cinnamon powder
. ½ cup water
. 1 cup sugar
. 2 teaspoons bloomed saffron
. vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS
- Step 1
To prepare khagineh, you must first mix in sugar and water in a saucepan and place the pan on heat so that the sugar is completely dissolved in water and the syrup is thickened.
- Step 2
Add the saffron as soon as the khagineh syrup has been thickened.
- Step 3
Break the eggs into a bowl and stir them well.
- Step 4
After the eggs are thoroughly mixed, add the yoghurt and flour and whisk well until fully incorporated.
- Step 5
Pour the oil in the non-stick pan and place on medium heat, and after it has warmed slightly, pour the batter into a pan and spread.
- Step 6
After one side turns gold flip khagineh and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Step 7
Turn off the heat after the khagineh is ready. Pour the syrup on it and top with walnut and cinnamon powder. Serve sugar omelet immediately while hot.
