Oct 27 (Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden said in a letter to House Speaker Mike Johnson on Friday that the United States “stands ready to take further action” following attacks by Iran-linked groups against U.S. forces in Iraq and Syria.
Biden’s comments in the letter came after U.S. fighter jets carried out air strikes in eastern Syria on Friday.
