During twelve days of war between the Islamic Republic and Israel, Iranian nuclear and military sites were destroyed, and over thirty commanders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were killed. Demoralized and diminished, the theocratic state retaliated against Iranians with mass arrests, executions, and increased military presence in cities across the country.
